Really saddened me, this news.
Northside are like our best kept secret.
"Those who know, just know" is a cliche, but it really applies to Northside.
Chicken Rhythms is a great album and it's a shame Northside will never be again.
R.I.P Timmy Walsh - thanks for some great memories and helping spread a little happiness to some of us

Hugely underrated lp and one of my very favourites.
Had ‘Weight of Air’ on this morning. What a tune.

I taped that off itv back in late 90/early 91 when granada did a run of showing gigs by james and the Mondays and I think the inspirals in concert in quick succession.Get on the ‘Live at the PSV Club’ dvd.
