Looked full to me - albeit a lot of latecomers for obvious reasons. People arriving in groups in the East Stand near me 20 minutes in - I could see the same elsewhere from where I was sat.
 
Two young lads sat a couple of rows in front of us have gone from kids to Adults with side burns and facial hair in about 18 months. They will no doubt think the FOC's behind them look closer to death than they did a year and a half ago :-).

There were probably about 500/1000 tickets on general sale a few hours before the game. Official attendance has us about 4,000 short.

Maybe ticket exchange should only open when a game sells out!

As a City fan I'd rather we sold all tickets to increase revenues for the Club. If a fan can't be arsed going after paying their money that is their problem, not City's.

Maybe I'm tight I don't know, but it has to be something pretty extreme for me not to attend something I have paid for.
 
Last week's game at Spurs was very reminiscent of the early games last season: at Wolves a blistering first 20 minutes which then tailed off into 45 minutes of carelessness which allowed Wolves back into the game before Gabby settled it in stoppage time. For the first half dozen games at least City were simply not match fit for 90 minutes because of the extended season and no pre-season and at Spurs it seemed just the same. Of our squad last Sunday only 5 had not been involved in either the Copa America or the Euros and one of them had only missed out because he had Corona virus. Of the 13 who had, 5 had been involved in the final and a further three had been to the semis. The result is that of the starters at WHL only 4 had had a pre-season and only Mahrez and, arguably, Ferna would have started in normal circumstances. Spurs had one player who made the Copa America final and he came on as a 78 min sub and two players from the Euros, only one of whom made the last 16. City's chances of matching Spurs over 90 minutes at WHL were slim in the extreme and this is how it played out.

Yesterday was a different matter. Norwich don't have Spurs' quality but they are match fit. City's squad was much more "normal" than last week as was the starting eleven. What pleased and reassured me was that we dominated possession from the start, got behind their backs with comparative ease, scored twice in the first 20 mins approx but never showed any signs of letting the pace drop. Thar Norwich were poor defensively and non-existent offensively is irrelevant: City played 90 minutes at PL pace and intensity and that is a reason for optimism.

Definitely not full. There were lots of noticeable empties in SSL3 and NSL1.
 
Thoroughly enjoyable return to a full stadium.
Extra tension and worry of a new ticketing system proved unwarranted.
Half priced fud n booze was a nice touch, but I don't like the new paper pints. Also, I think my veggie burger had been cooked and then set about with a blow torch to give it a carbon crust. Still nice though.
Cantwell was my player of the opposition, but I can't decide if that's just coz his bleached hair made him stand out more. Otherwise, they were utterly remarkable in every aspect. As were their fans.
We really play delightful football and the break from attending has made me appreciate anew just how lucky we are to be able to witness it.

Edersons salmon like dive for a headed clearance in the second looked brilliant from where I sit.
Great stuff from Walker, Torres, Laporte (we're not really letting him go, surely?)... a positive team display, all round

Already looking forward to the gunners.

Brother took his kids 3/5 to their first game yesterday. The stewards were excellent. Found them new great seats when everyone was standing where they were originally. Just wanted to pass it on.

Although the stadium has 55,017 seats, our previous ‘match day’ capacity was 54,830 (allowing for segregation). If we have lost 1200 seats as reported, then our capacity would be around 53,830 now.
