I dont think he'd class it as footballI'd love to know what adjectives he'd use for the type of football we currently play.
Firstly, we can still finish fourth so let us focus on that objective. Secondly, Personally no CL football is not the disaster some people seem to believe and I think it will not be the determining factor in deciding if a top player will sign next summer. Why? 1) Pep will naturally attract players who will come to be a part of the redevelopment and advancement of MCFC. 2) Players signing would have the realistic expectation that we would be serious contenders to win the league next season and that CL football would most likely be guaranteed for the following 2/3 seasons.3) Players are likely to receive a better financial deal than at most other clubs.4) Pep without the pressures of CL football could experiment in the Europa and concentrate on trying to win the league which is a big advantage given that it his first managerial experience in England.5)Players who just want to showcase in the CL are not the type of individuals you want when attempting a rebuilding programme. Finally, as I believe that it will take Pep two full windows to get us to a level where we can win the league and close the gap on Europe's elite. Expect 4/6 new arrivals this summer and a further 3/5 the following summer. At least two will be mega signings and the remainder will be support players that fit into an interchangeable system rather than purchases to pad out a squad of 25. In summary, No CL could be a blessing in disguise!!Keep the faithYeah sure he doesn't..fact is without CL football any big name will not even listen to any offers.
SO IT IS A MUST

The big hole in our finances will inevitably impact recruitment. There was never any up side to not prioritising a CL place.i wonder now that 5th is becoming ever more likely, do those who expressed a similar relaxed attitude to not coming top 4 still hold that belief?
it's all good, go with the flow
