"Someone had asked him whether Manchester United will ever go into a derby match as underdogs and for 15 seconds or more he eyed his inquisitor, the hint of a glint in those narrow eyes, and you wondered whether that individual or Manchester City would be on the receiving end of the full force of his opinion. "What time is it?" he said, at last. "I think it is time for me to leave." And as he clambered from his seat, an answer to that question... "Not in my lifetime."

28th April 2012 - Manchester City vs Manchester United, at the Etihad Stadium.

Will we be favourites?

Tick Tock...

He said 'not in my lifetime' that city would win a trophy! Complete and utter tosser, let's drive the whisky nosed ..... into the ground and on his headstone....'not in my lifetime' shall be written.

Shaking Taggart will see us be favourites 28th April 2012, it would be a nice touch if we could wrap up the title on that day as well

The bookies offer favouritism to the team/horse etc where the most money is being punted. Means fuck all in the grand scheme of things.

I think some of you need to get a grip.

Regards Fergie, I don't like the bloke. I guess not many around here do.

But I do not wish he was dead for god's sake. That's a bit strong. He is a rather odious manager of a football club. No more, no less. We don't need to dance on his grave when he croaks.

Some people are wishing Fergie were dead others would like him to live long enough to witness our success. Might I suggest a happy compromise that should suit everyone. How about the whiskey sozzled cocksucker does a Jock Stein and keels over at the final whistle on 28th April after witnessing City beat united to land the Premier League Championship.

Not as far fetched as you might think, given his age, current health and the propencity that the greedy, selfish twat has for constantly trying to log the limelight.

You could just see the headlines now "Disrepectful City celebrate as world's greatest manager lies dying". The media would have a field day. It would be as though City's triumph never happened with calls to have the title strpped from City and awarded to united as a testimony to the great man's achievements.

What a stupid statement to make by Fergie.

City have a good chance of winning the Premiership this season, totally writing us off like that is ridiculous.

Yes, but it would be great though.
