Nottingham Forest (H) | Post Match Thread

So then , as a forest fan here is my take on last night. I agree if wood had put his chance away it may have been tighter ,but city would still have won I think. Forest did ok, but certainly didn’t play to the best of their abilities. Grealish was a revelation and clearly needs to start there going forwards. De Bruyne was brilliant and made a massive difference. Thought forest kept Haarland pretty quiet. Doku was fantastic. Keeper wise , I wonder how Ederson is gonna get his place back. As I’ve put on here before ,I see a lot of city as my daughter is a fan,and I thought your entire team looked much more assured and on the front foot last night. Also thought your crowd were possibly the best I’ve heard at the ethiad. I was sat just along from the away dug out,so could hear the south stand. Was surprised at the empty seats but I put that down to a weeknight when it’s on Amazon and ticket pricing. Forest do a lot of work in the community ,and I’m sure city do too, but I always think when players come out of the car park and see that council estate opposite , do they ever think “we must have fans and kids who live in those houses who can’t afford to come accross the road to support us and we ought to do something about that. I know that’s really down to the commercial division though. All in all city looked much improved on the last game I saw at the eithid which was Southampton. Despite the stick you lot get, I have to say city fans have been great when I’ve spoken to them and there are some real hardcore football fans like everywhere and it’s daft you’ve been hit with the day tripper tag. I know you get an element of that, but it’s no worse than the other big six and certainly not old Trafford. Good luck for the rest of the season.

kevin de grelish or jack de bruyne
anyway you shuffle, i like the combo.Image both fit and firing all cylinders feeding the goat.

A big difference I noticed last night was that Haaland was putting himself about a bit.
Dragging defenders with him leaving gaps and openings for the others.
KDB, Silva, Gundogan and even Grealish all looked more of a threat.
I can imagine why he might not like it though. He won’t score as many goals, it’s hard work and neat intricate football is not his thing
