Nottingham Forest Thread - 2022/23

I think they have decided that they needed to go for the scattergun approach because of the championship quality of their title winning squad.

They have even sold their keeper who made 40 appearances last season. Most promoted teams usually keep them as number 2 at least.
Forest last won the title in 1978, so I would imagine that most of their TITLE WINNING SQUAD are a bit past it by now !!

I dont think Cooper can keep them up tbh. I hope I am wrong though because loyalty nearly always gets rewarded. Good luck to him and I do hope Forest out of all the ones who came up can stay up.

Bit of a surprise this, to say the least.

Their owner has taken a lot of flak, but this is a very sensible and fair move, it takes all the attention away from the manager and he can now get on with doing his job.

If Cooper keeps them in he division it will be an outstanding achievement with all the changes to the playing staff.
