Nou Camp Redevelopment

I thought Camp Nou was a bit " grey and concrety" from the outside. It doesnt look the most majestic of stadiums too look at from the outside.
Once inside though you cant help but be impressed by the sheer size of it! And their "in house" history museum/trophy room is very impressive! Its a little bit bigger than what we have at the Etihad ;-)

Betis have a beautiful stadium.

you gotta be kidding - another falling down concrete monstrosity and this one only three quarters finished - for the Sevilla trip earlier in the season we were in the hotel directly behind it

The entire club premises around the Camp Nou, Mini Estadi, Palau Blaugrana etc. has been long overdue for modernization which hasn't really been up for debate. There was a plan by Rosell et al to move the project to the marina but fortunately socios shot that plan down and instead it'll remain at it's present location and see it revitalized

It always is a special experience to walk into the stadium IMHO but look forward to the renovation

I was going to post something similar to your last sentence. Only been to evening games there (our last two) and the walk up to the stadium is pretty breathtaking. Then you get inside where you walk up to the away end where the stairs are crumbling and it looks like something out of a New York Ghetto spoil the moment. In fairness though, when you've finally got to the top and you're struggling to breath through lack of oxygen the view of the pitch and other areas of the ground are spectacular.

Just needs modernising really.
