Been up since 6 with grandson. Will walk mutt then hit the pub, early out early in. Probably spark out by 9 until the mutt goes mental at the fireworks. Snog the breadknife at midnight then ponder life 'til 2.

A bar near me is celebrating NY at 8pm so the staff can bugger off. That suites me, come back for a meal, ear muffs on the dogs, a few different whiskeys and fairly early bed well maybe.

Looking forward to tomorrow more. If it was up me we’d be at home every NY’s day and Boxing Day.

Off to a house party with finger food which I need to prepare at an octogenarian's house....not as bad as it sounds but I've got a stinking hangover from last night a full on 17.00-02.30 session for my son's birthday in town....went into a super pub I'd not been in before the Gaslamp on Bridge St.

Hired a marquee with a fully stocked bar and bar staff to go on the solarium. Will be about 20 of us getting very drunk.
