NYE

A quiet night in for me.

Each to their own, but like others have said a hang over having crawled into bed at 5am doesnt appeal these days. Much like Xmas eve everywhere is busy and prices are high. For what it would cost for a night out here on NYE i can get cheap flights to Portugal where the weather is soewhat better, as are the prices for a beer and some decent grub.

As I use the Julian calendar rather than the Gregorian calendar new year is not for another 6 days so please keep the noise down.

(The Gregorian calendar is religious, something to do with when you can buy easter eggs)

Funny you should mention easter eggs, I think they have been appearing in the shops since about bonfire night. Never realised cream eggs were seasonal - I really fancied one in the summer but none about.
