wow ye! That was the best gig of my life by far, absolutely awesome, I managed to get near the front in the pit so I could see them all properly and was wasted for the warm up acts just sobering up in time for the real deal, thats what I call good timing!
Still remember My Big Mouth, that was awesome live and To Be Where Theres Life!
What day did you guys go? I went on Thursday when the sound fucked up but it was sunny and they got it working so I didn't care!

Yeh i was in the front bit apart from the thursday show, didn't know what to expect, got in late about 6ish and ended up behind the second barrier since all the wristbands had gone.
so because i knew what to expect on the sunday i got their at 11.30ish, was about 6th in the queue, gates opened at 2, dashed it across the mud and got on the front barrier inbetween noel and liam, was epic, didn't move and had no food or drink for 9 hours but it was worth every single second.

I went on the Thursday, got there about 12 and were dead early in. Ended up stood right next to the second barrier. My sister got headbutted by some nob head just after Oasis came on, breaking several of her teeth as well as her nose. Got taken out by the security staff and sent to the St. Johns ambulance tent (who were very good) and were told that Oasis had just left by car, and that we might as well go to hospital since they weren't coming back on. Went to hospital, then found out that they came back on! Was gutted, but would of probably ended up leaving anyway as my sister was in a pretty bad way.
Wish I'd managed to see Oasis, but Kasabian were still awesome.

went on the saturday when word was spreading that e'too was signing. gig was fucking spot on.
Amazing.
Wednesday they sound checked. So a few of us got as close as we could to the barriers got a throw away BBQ some meat few cans and had a BBQ listening to them. Thursday was the same.
Went Saturday got in the front pit. Best gig I've been. Every band apart from Three peace were great.

Was a great day, went on the thursday, started in town at 10ish, beautiful day, jumped about like a pissed up twat to Twisted Wheel and Kasabian, went to meet some friends just before Oasis came on miles away from the crowd and slept til 1ish on the grass with a few other people when security told us to leave.
Spent £50 to watch Oasis and never saw or heard a single note, great day though.

Went on the Sunday... loved the music, alot of the coked up southern students around me pissed me off, final straw was a young lad climbing onto his mates shoulders, smacked his feet into my girlfriends face, she looks at me like: what you gonna do?
So he accidently tripped over with his mate on his back, this other guy unrelated to them gets involved, had white powder all over his nose, scummy twat, anyway he started kicking off...
Just loads of dicks where we was, we moved a few times but still loads of young lads who just couldn't handle their drink and drugs. The piss being thrown about everywhere pushed me over the edge, i went sick....
Would never go to a gig EVER again with my bird, NEVER.... well maybe Westlife and Boyzone :)
