I remember being in the Platt lane stand , maybe 97/98/99 , Oasis where just getting known ,and they were brought onto the pitch before a game , kicked a few balls and waved to the crowd .
Who else remembers this ,what match was it ,date ,score etc
Or am I dreaming?

I almost certainly bought the first two albums whilst at school and I left in 1996. They were huge by then.

We got curly watts as a celebrity fan coz city are a massive club.

Remember seeing Mike Rutherford on the pitch with Paul Young (ex Sad Cafe and Mike and the Mechanics) and Mike Summerbee once.

I'm inclined to confirm that (and I'm not even an Oasis fan, particularly). It was Oasis and Blur.
