Offended by food?

TV Chef who makes money by licensing his brand and goodwill to supermarkets and venture capital employs PR/marketing professionals. Shock horror.

Food is almost always adpated to the palette of the local population, so it isn't likely to be authentic to the minority group it was appropriated from.

No problem with 'Irish' Stew in our family. It gets called Tater Ash and that was in a Irish/West Gorton household.
Incomers soon learn to adapt.
