we are the north stand!../o\ \o/ /o\ \o/ /o\....
I've got a good feeling for this one, if the villa game is anything to go off, we could nick a point.
But chelsea are in good form atm, so to get anthing we'll have to pull our socks up and get our acts together away from home.

This is the team i would play:

.....Given......
......Zaba....Dunne.....Ned......Bridge
.....SWP.....Kompany....DeJong....Ireland
.....Elano.....
...Robinho...

If our defense turn up as well as our forward line, i think it'll be 1-1. (Sturridge, Drogba)

Re: Official Chelsea Vs. Man city thread.

Away from home, Bellamy's out injured and Chelsea are getting back into some form since Hiddink went there, plus they have Essien back from injury.
I would definately take a draw and a win would be unbelievable but I can only see one result, fingers crossed they prove me wrong though.
Chelsea 2-0 City

Re: Official Chelsea Vs. Man city thread.

ive also got a goof feeling
we always play better against the top teams so i think 1-1 draw with anelka getting a late goal

And what makes you think that Sturridge is fit enough to play? Even DeJong may still be carrying an injury. Elano should definitely play.

True, i can't deny that he has been in good form whenever he has come on from the bench.

As long as we give a decent accout of ourselves and the other results go our way thats all we can ask for.

Not expecting any points but they are due to drop at least one and Manure are home and dry but I don't expect them to do us any favours in our quest to stay in the top half of the table.

We haven't lost by more than 2 goals all season in the premiership and Chelsea are one of those sides that beat us by that margain at Coms.

Be nice to rain on their parade for once.

On the OS Hughes says both De Jong and Kompany (I guess depending how he does Thursday) are doubts for Chelsea. We absolutely need them both in the middle of the park to have a chance of knicking a point at the Bridge
