Official, The Sun Is a Disgrace

A few of my mates often do tests for products and surveys for different companies. Last week The Sun got in contact with them to do a questionnaire on City. The money is great, often £50-100 per hour so he accepted the offer, but he is a united fan and told them this after he had said yes. The person he spoke to at The Sun said to him, "just pretend your a city fan, nobody will ever know". I said to him you cant do that, it will give an unfair result in the question asked, he said i know and i have told them this but they are not bothered, i said well tell them i will do it for free and give you the money for it, he relayed this message back to the newspaper and they declined. If we ever needed any more evidence that they are a rag newspaper, this is it guys, and a total disgrace. I have told him to either record what happens or take a note of the questions asked so i can publish them on here before the Sun does in the paper. What a disgrace, thoughts?

There will come a day when they will want stories from us when we're top of the league and winning things and all City should do is tell them to fuck right off. They have printed shit about us time and time again and do you know what? Karma is a fucking bitch and revenge is best served cold.

I would advise fellow blues not to click on any of their links, to never buy this newspaper which is not fit to wipe any blues arse with and to totally blank it as if it doesn't even exist and hopefully one day it won't.

Why would The Sun pay up to £100 per hour to garner opinion from fans of any club when they could fill their columns by spending half an hour on any football forum?

Also, what amount of questions would they be asking where the prospect of spending an hour responding would be even remotely pheasible? Even when calculated pro-rata the interview would need to last 15 minutes+ to make the money worthwhile?

I don't doubt your veracity for a moment but perhaps your friend is spinning you a bit of a line?
