Time and again we see it. Players totally condemned one week and praised to the skies the next. Usually one good or bad game is enough to swing the public like-o-meter between legend or loser.

The world cup is coming soon and my bet is that if Robinho has a good tournament, he will be back in the legend list on here. Barry, Weiss et al will also be up or down the ladder (never in the middle) according to how they perform game by game.

We will see thread after thread saying this or that City player is fantastic or gash when they aren't even playing for us!

(I knew there was a silver lining somewhere in Ireland not qualifying).

I know all football forums are similar, but do we have to have calls for players and managers to be sacked or made legends after every game?

Blue is the colour
Fickle is the game
But were all together.
And City is our name.
So cheer us on in the rain and sun.
Were fickle....but blues we will remain!

Thank you..and good night!

genius!

Uber Blues = Legend !!!!!!!!!!

(I think I've got that right for now, but if your next post isn't as good, you're a waste of a username. Sorry but that's just the way it goes in these parts)

I am of the belief that there are actually not that many posters who are as fickle as this forum makes out. Most of the truly flaky posters are probably <18yrs anyway. The rest of them probably lean mostly in one direction or the other and only post their position and opinion of a player's worth to the club once said player has performed in a manner to confirm this.

eg Ned scoring two in one game or Ned making comments on tv that might not please certain fans.

If that makes sense...wine and that.

personally I cut out any relevant information and just use an online random number generator to pick a squad number and then dont like that player for a week. It saves time coming up with any logical argument.

It isn't individual players either. It happens in a collective sense dependant on whether we win one week or draw/lose the next. This usually results in some posts that reckon we are going to conquer the world or some that think we are in freefall.

And that is when some posters get edged into corners that in the real world they wouldn't get edged into imho.

Don't know what to think of that, so on the basis of eeny meeny miny mo, it's absolutely brilliant!

Legend!
