Anyone ever been to one?

I'd love too...shit football but the hatred/atmosphere is absolutely incredible apparently.

On a side note, heard a few people say they'd love to go to a Manchester derby out of any game in the world...always wanted to hear a neutral view of the Manchester derby, anyone got any?

Would love to go to a Turkish derby, that would beat the Old Firm Derby for football and passion.

The Old Firm is more than just football though.

so is the istanbul derby. it's a battle of two continents. fenerbahce of asia and galatasaray of europe. seperated by a river. i agree with you about the glasgow derby though, most on here would gladly go to most derbies throughout the world but refuse to entertain the idea of rangers and celtic. if this rivalry was in argentina or germany, people would love it.

city at the Nou Camp and Ibrox for Celtics visit are the 2 games I want to see before I die

It was ironic that we played at barca and Ibrox (not the same but nevertheless a game Id have loved) when Id spent far too much following city in Europe the season before, and couldn't possibly justify either to myself, or MrsK

Been in the Celtic end at Ibrox - noise was incredible when Rangers scored.

Was on a coach on the M8 full of Celtic when it pulled up alongside a Rangers coach and everyone got all bravado comparing Queen Mother T shirts to Bobby Sands T shirts. Crazy.

The anti English attitude of the Celtic fans made me realise that Rangers are the Glasgow team for me. Want them to win the league every year now after sitting amongst them. Singing songs about the Queen Mother dying etc.

Considering it is a Scottish football match, there were hundreds of Union jacks and Irish Tricolours everywhere-not a Scottish flag in sight.

If it's good enough for our future queen it's good enough for anyone.

Skank alert!!
Don't you dare tar the soon to be PILF with the "skank" brush. In the future, she'll be a QILF.

Hey VR, it's all about opinions!!! She's not my cup of tea and the thought of her cutting about Buck Palace wearing the shirt of Scotlands Shame just distances me further!! Lol

I've been to two and both this season. TBH after the first one ( we got beat 3-1) I wondered what all the atmosphere was about but the 3-0 game I went to was something else,I've been to european games before but that games atmosphere was on another level.

As for the Manchester derby, Having not been to one I don't know what the atmosphere would be like ( the semi final sounded great though) but the football would be undoubtedly better to watch if you were a neutral.

I've been to a couple , when Souness was in charge , beat them at parkhead 2 -1 , Chris Woods saved a pen and lost a Cup final 1-0.

If you get the chance go.
I was at that game (celtic end), 88/89 ish i think, the noise when the teams came out was incredible.
