You have to take into accoubt though, if the old firm came into the prem, they would only be doing it to make more money. They wouldn't bother otherwise, so add extra TV money with global following and high gate receipts and they would probably at least survive long enough to bring in mid table squads.

Agreed, but relegation is not beyond the realms of possibility.
