Bertie Mee said to Joe Harvey have you heard of the North Bank Highbury

100% correct this version.
I don't know where I got Joe Mercer involved. It was always Bertie Mee and Joe Harvey, who were managers of Arsenal and Newcastle at the time.
There aren't many managers called Bert and Joe nowadays.

That is one of the finest songs we've ever sung IMO. Made my hairs stang up on the back of my neck standing on the Kippax. We should bring it back to be sung regularly.
