I have an old Video player, scart to HDMI and am watching old videos on our digital TV. What I want to do is record them into a digital format. Whats the easiest way to do it, does anyone know?

I assume you mean you want to digitise the video?

If you want to do it yourself then you need cables that capture the signal from your scart socket on the video recorder to an input on your computer or laptop. Probably best to check things like Youtube to see what fits best for you and the equipment you have.

Or use a company like this, https://digitalconverters.co.uk/pro...vert video tapes to digital&utm_content=Video

Or

No need to close it. Someone else might find the information useful.
Agreed. I’ve done analogue to digital transfers, for audio and video at various times over the years, but always forget how I did it, so reminders are handy. And cables and software can change over time.
