Most of the decent stuff will go to China/Japan, try e-bay Rascal if you want the best audience. Record fairs are too confusing, shops wont pay much either.

I just sold about 300 LP's
sell the worthless ones as a job lot (stuff like Leo Sayer, Neil Diamond,Elton John etc) then the rarer stuff (and any Beatles) sell individually on ebay

A record dealer will throw out most of your stuff and screw you on the rest.
Sell on EBay but make sure you are thoroughly conversant with the Rare Records grading system. You can use discogs website to get an idea of value, but remember condition is everything to a collector, as well as matrix number (the writing scratched into the run out groove). Invest in some record mailers as well.
