Oldham Athletic thread





Oldham player Hallam Hope was assaulted in the club car park after a match against Chesterfield. He required hospital treatment and looks like missing several weeks of football.

Police investigations are ongoing but an allegation has been made against a Chesterfield player.

Shocking story, especially if it's true that the person responsible is another player.

Wishing him a full recovery, and the maximum legal repercussions for the perpetrator.

If the injuries are bad enough to keep him out for several weeks, it's presumably a sustained attack and/or deliberately targeted to impact his career.
 
Not gonna post the name but if you look at the replies to the Chesterfield tweet it mentions someone, if you look at Saturday's team sheet they were ex-team mates.

If this needs to be removed no problem.
 
I would advise anyone against publishing the name that's going around twitter right now. No one has been charged with any offence as of yet. Until then, he's innocent.
 
I have been told it’s something to do with shenanigans between the Oldham player and the chesterfields players wife from when they were teammates at another club
