Cant remember as i was hammered, loved that season under Keegan - but didnt Bosvelt have a blinder. Sat in the Oldham end with what seemes like mostly blues.

I remember one where they shut the turnstiles at our end and Berkovic was getting a few boos. Was that a couple of years later though?

Yeah I was there went with a few colleauges, we bought some George Weah tops that cought attention with the local paper.

Red/black stripes I think.
What I do remember though is my lad missed 3 of the 4 goals getting food/pissing etc.
He's never missed one at the game since.

Remember going to this game, Weah and Bob Taylor were linking up quite well causing one guy to ask if Bob was Liberian. We'll never know how they would have performed as a pairing as Bob was packed off to Wolves sharpish. Maybe selling his dream partner was why George didn't hang around. As for Bob he faded into obscurity but we didnt lose money on him and he bagged a couple of important goals in the promotion run in in 2000.

Remember this one. If I remember rightly, City were presented with medals before the game on the pitch for promotion from the season before.
Definitely wore red and black stripes.
