Fucking strange place lol, the guy in the corner shop wont even talk to me!!! Working with some Ghanian and we both keep getting dirty looks. Some nice views though at top of hill.

As a Chaddertonian I've never had any problems living there. There are some good parts, some bad parts of Oldham. Same as any town in the country.
As for Yorkshire wannabees, that's the people of Saddleworth. Oldhamers are proud Lancastrians

yep oldham
once the centre of the industrial revolution. a place which kick started this country and give it the foundations to become what it is today
of course, i'm not one for harping on about past glory's, and the place could still be great if successive governments had not ignored the time-bomb that was non-intergration
but what did any of them care really? they were very happy taking our cash when it was all working out nicely
and southern ponces wonder why maggie is derived around here and in the north in general.

Im workin in the asian bit. Was well more friendly in the moss. Some of the glares im getting here are piss funny. Some areas of Oldham are lovely. I like near the moors and wake up to lovely views every day. Plus its Lancashire not Yorkshire, so before you make your pathetic little comments get your facts right first. Rant over x
