Omar Berrada to the rags | TLDR: They want to be us

Txiki is part of the City triumvirate, including Soriano & Pep. Those three are the real secret behind our success, albeit Berrada was a crucial part of their team.

Shit happens & employees move to rivals usually for far more money, and/or a higher position. It's happened to my company which severely pissed us off.

However, it made us tighter & even more determined to succeed, especially over the competing companies.

Let's just hope this gives us fresh impetus to drive forward & prove that City isn't a one man band, but a complex mechanism of interchangeable high quality parts, which when combined made us Treble winners & World Champions.

If those three are the holy trinity then Omar is the pope.

He was the person who Barcelona got very upset about us taking, which makes sense because he tripled their commercial revenue in 5 years in the early 00s.

No point in downplaying this, having your COO get poached by your main competitor is going to be a headache on all sorts of levels.

I have to be honest, I have never heard of the guy. However swapping over to the rags is not on, be that a player or a member of the board. Is this anything to be worried about? I doubt it, someone has left us for a promotion elsewhere, it happens. Arteta left for for the managerial role at Arsenal, we coped.

It doesn't help, but trust me, from my experience it's how City react which is most important.

Will Sheikh Mansour sell up? Will Txiki & Soriano think "Well there's no point any longer without Omar"? Will Pep think, "No Omar, no City. I'm off to ManUre too"?

We have hundreds of CFG employees, & I'd be more worried if our recent success could be derailed by losing one to a rival, albeit an important one.
