Omar Berrada to the rags

So all of our sponsorships are dodgy but the bloke behind them now gets a job at the Rags & that’s enough for them to overtake us.

It’s the continued mental gymnastics.

I’m more pissed of about the 18s losing 1nil when we normally school them 5 or 6.

This is hugely concerning and potentially has huge ramifications.

Omar was viewed within the club as a natural successor to Ferran Soriano as CFG’s CEO and played a huge part (In everything) that went on at the club and the wider City football group.

Omar has knowledge and information on absolutely every detail of City’s and CFG’s operation. Something really, really fishy about this.

I have no doubt Khaldoon will have tried to intervene to retain him.

He never went to York away tho did he?

It's fairly common for big executives in any field - they have access to privileged information that they can then use against their former employers.

Obviously there are rules against that, but they're hard to enforce. So a bit of distance is pretty common.

Working at the CFA on the Friday and turning up at Carrington on the Monday morning? Unusual.

Perhaps he gets aroused by the stench of raw sewage.
That’s not a clever analogy, the air stinks of shit around Carrington. Actual shit.

What does this tell us about the 115 charges? They are going to be quashed.
The rags will NOT appoint someone who, according to the world, social media and red cartel softarses, is part of a conspiracy, fraud and everything else the media are throwing at us.

If anything this rubber stamps us being not guilty at all.

As if the rags have now suddenly become the voice of justice and truth. Give over. They’re a shit show who have hired someone else who’s bald for stinking huge wages.

They aren’t thinking past the ‘he’s from city’ part yet.

Their aim is clearly to be us but there’s such a gulf from top to bottom it’s going to take a long time (if ever) before they even come close to our level.

If only one person could change the fortunes of a football club. Takes more than that. He’ll get a huge pay rise and be the CEO of an already huge commercial brand that are the rags. Make Glazers profit again and then see where it goes. Long long way to go.

I don’t mind taking him new job at Arsenal spurs or even Liverpool …but how could he at United

Not really arsed myself, there’s always someone to step up like in all business.

I am surprised as most, but at the end of the day he doesn't support City and the United CEO job - as much as we like to make fun of that club right now - is in the top 5 CEO jobs in world football in regards to scale.

That, and no doubt a ridiculous pay rise.

No man - unless you are a devout City supporter - in his position is turning that job down.

If he can turn that club around he will be one of the most in demand men in administration and management.

The big concern for me would be how much of our gameplan is he going to try and copy and implement over there, because he will no doubt have an insight as to what our future planning is over the next 5 years.

Omar can take whatever “secrets of our success “ he likes with him. How he will get Chelsea Jim or Glazers to pony up the dough to implement plans on a long term view - that’s what it will take and I don’t think they are patient enough.
