sorry mate cant have that - without the sheikh we've descended to the 3rd division but without the sheikh we climbed back out of it and consolidated to a certain degree thanks to people like Berstein etc

Obviously under Wardle and with Pearce etc we did struggle to hold our own but we did do it

Frank raised the profile (and expectations) and at one point it looked like we were back on our perennial slide but in no way can we be compared to Bates' Lids who will take at least another season to get to the Championship never mind Premier

Don't think you realise how perilous a situation we were in financially before and during the Thaksin ownership, If frank hadn't turned up we were close to doing a Leeds. That season Sven took charge we had no team before the season started! We are very lucky to have been rescued the way we were.
