Apparently the lads went back to Manchester tonight on the train, anyone on the way back from the game see them?
 
At Stockport station I got on the same train as Blackburn Rovers who were going to Fulham a couple of years ago.
No where near as good as seeing City, but they're the team on the other side of the family, so it made my Grandad happy.
 
We were on the 8.15 and some lad said he had heard the transport police say they were on the next one at 8.30. Obviously can't be sure though. Are transport police really necessary for city fans returning from fulham?

We got the 7.35 back from Euston,didnt see the team but as we got to the platform none other than mr Mike Summerbee and his wife was there,went over and just said hello shaken his hand and he started talking to us about the game,he was also very un impressed with 'the sunday supplement' team's bile they was going on about yesterday morning,he said as a club on the whole we need to stick together and ignore all the negative press that we are getting at the moment,realy nice fella and a pleasure to spend 10 minutes with,topped a great day off,just like to say,our fans was fantastic yesterday and as ever im realy proud city is my (our) club.
 
Last season they were on the same train as me coming back from Fulham and Carlos Tevez sat down at my table in First Class (I upgraded ok!!) I had fallen asleep and woke up to see him sitting across the table from me and closed my eyes again because I thought I was dreaming. He had come into the ordinary FC section to sit with his family/friends, the rest of the squad were in a 'guarded' section. Kompany, Ireland and a few others got off at Stockport.

And for those who don't believe me, I have the photo to prove it!! I very politely asked him for a photo and he was charming. Was so overwhelmed that I forgot to ask for an autograph or anything.

So yes, they do travel with the proletariat Dave Ewings back 'eader!!

Pffft, give over I'm not having that for one minute, surely each player flew back on their own A380, if not something needs to be done about this
