One extremely proud Grandmother!!!!

I have been keeping this to myself for ages and ages but now feel I can at last say it:

Manchester City v Vancouver Whitecaps.......... player escorts/mascots............ two of my Granddaughters!!!!!

They live just outside Vancouver, have dual nationality being born over there, have been brought up as Blues because their parents are both Blues and went home and away (including Wembley 1999) before they emigrated.

How cool is that? The girls are so excited as is their Gran, shame I chose last year to be there rather than this but hey you can't have it all.

Both girls play football (soccer over there) for local teams and their parents coach the teams so they are real footballers. :-)

They have the new away kit, sent over courtesy of their bursting with pride Grandmother and I am hoping that one of them escorts, or is mascot for, Vinnie Kompany!! :-)

Sorry to bore you all but I am just soooooo proud.

Unsworth Blue my son and his wife love it over there, they did a similar thing to your friends and went over for a holiday, hired an RV and toured around. Then decided to emigrate.
