you really have no idea what home grown means, do you?

For PL, you can have unlimited U21 players (U21 defined as those who turn 21 in the year that the season starts or who are younger). Apart from that, you can have maximum 17 foreign non HG players and the rest must be HG for a maximum squad size. HG for PL is association trained which means that the player must have been at a premier league club for at least 3 years before he turns 21 (or in the year he turn 21). How can bony or Di maria be HG? Fabregas is HG as he was at Arsenal since age 16.

For CL, rules are similar except you need 4 club trained and 4 Association trained + a maximum of 17 non HG player. U21 players can be unlimited as long as they have been at your club for 2 or more years (Nastasic qualifies for us this season as U21 for both PL and CL, next season he will be non HG). Club trained means that player must have been at the club for 3 years or more before age 21

I think everybody will agree on this fact that its the best and most complete squad we ever had
So we dont really need any one unless there is a stellar name available who would really improve us but with the cl cap it would be a like for like replacement for ones we already have
Reus looks like he's staying at Dortmund,he should be our prime target next season and possibly a striker for another striker who would give us a different dimension,so If our net spend is isn't bang at 50m its not a bad thing,more money to spend next season and on high quality players,like barcelona and rm spend on one or two star names

i'd rather have reus than di maria, and i'dmuch rather have either of them in place of one of our strikers (negredo)...
