Please let's see the result yesterday as the thread title

That point could be decisive come the end of the season.

Plus a draw there is not too bad as only Chelsea and Villa have won there this season.

Onwards and Upwards blues !!!

The one gained could indeed be decisive, but the two lost could be crucial!

Someone posted our form under Mancini,
Home: P5 W4 D1 L0
Away P6 W2 D2 L2
So our home form is at least as good if not better since he came
plus our away form is definitely better, Hughes only won 2 away from home all last season and had only won one away this season until the middle of December.
It will come good with this fella, if anyone deserves to be given time and money to spend it's Mancio.

Sunderland have won one game in almost four months. It's definitely two points dropped. Same as Hull beating us to record their only win in 16 games.

We really have to start beating these shit teams or we have no chance of 4th spot.

if you looked at our last 2 fixtures and what you thought realistically we would pick up, i see it like this in terms of points, a draw at chelsea and a win at sunderland.

still should of won though.

Yes but how may times are we saying the same thing?

2 points dropped.

I think draws will cost us the champions league spot this year.

Despite their poor form, they have not lost too many at home this season so although it would have been nice to win (and we certainly should/could have given the chances we created) it definitely isn't a bad result. I think it is fair to say that if we don't make 4th it won't be a draw at Sunderland that will be the issue. There were stacks of positives to take from the second half performance which was the first time I remember us truly dominating a team away from home for a few years. We haven't had that type of concerted pressure for a long time, it's all been bits and pieces counter attacking stuff. I have mainly positive thougths about yesterday's match.

Yes I think you could be right!

Amazes me how we struggle against these teams and then the likes of Chelsea Manure Arsenal and even spurs and villa turn them over!!!

Yes, and that game was their previous game only a week before, and they totally stomped their opposition. We all know City don't follow recurring themes, but for 19 teams in the Premier League having a good result which restores confidence is followed with another very good performance the next game, and only then it goes downhill. In addition, their pitch was horrid and taking two weeks out without a game tends to badly affect performances for a short period, as it did with us.

I'm still disappointed we drew of course, but it's definitely one point gained.

Edit: for those who caught me saying we lost before I realised and edited...typical Falastur?

4 points from Chelsea and Sunderland.

Better than i expected to be honest.

Sunderland have only lost twice at home all season.

Next up, Fulham and Everton before 3 winnable games that will probably define our season.

Infact our next 5 are crucial. Should be looking at 10 or 12 points imo..

How many of those teams have turned over Sunderland at home this season?
