19th February 2020 - Manchester City 2-0 West Ham

The last game so far at the Etihad that had fans in, I went to this game but had to watch the highlights to remember anything bar Rodri's looping header.

All I could remember of this game was that Zabba got a great welcome back.

Wembley was my last game and the anniversary of that is in a couple of weeks.

LOL at all the empty seats. I wonder if the season ticket holders who couldn’t be bothered turning up that night are the same lot who have been threatening not to renew?

My last senior game was Wembley. Was there one last away game with Sheffield United with fans? I can't remember now.

Was at this game and seem to remember it was rearranged from the previous evening? Attendance was about half full, absolutely freezing and the game was pretty dull. West Ham were pathetic and would’ve snatched your hand off for a 2-0 loss before the game. Highlight was Zabba coming on.

The last game I attended, couldn't remember it very well. Had a look at the match thread and it made me laugh. Here's a quick compilation of some of it:
"Let’s try to stay positive and back the team in today’s match thread./ It’s hard getting through a ten man defence, but some of our passing in the middle has just gifted them possession./ How many times can the commentator crow bar in 2 year ban? Wankers./ From the bravado of thinking we'll beat Real Madrid to the doubt and panic about this./ We scored from a corner!!!!!!!!!!!/ That decision by var to not even check it is astounding. Its blatant corruption./ FFS. Even our ball-boy is against us./ It was our chance to turn up and tell UEFA to fuck off. I've come tonight despite the piss weather./ Leon Osman was on the radio before saying it took him 3 hours 15 minutes to get to the ground when it’s normally a 15 minute journey./ Twitter is all about our attendance./ Good showing from young David Silva, anyone think he will start v Madrid?/ The Barnsley Beckenbauer on; that's the win out of the window./ So far its been a typical game like we've seen most of the season....wasteful with a bad VAR decision to top it off./ Can't believe there's fuckers moaning about the attendance on here. It's a rearranged midweek fixture, shite road conditions, and half term./ Don't understand this hard on pep has for gundogan, why not foden?/ Gabby needs a Guide Dog./ Stones is a goner, I'm afraid./ Gundogan looks like he has put more weight back on on during the break./ We’ve been very good right up to the point where we have twice put the striker through with only the goalie to beat./ Stones.....I bloody panic whenever he is on the ball/ They’ve gone to a 6-3-1/ Good to see Mendy looking confident again. Just hope he can stay fit./ Only another 1642 more City crosses till our next goal from one./ Refs are always in our bloody way!/ Another penalty we won't have the opportunity to miss./ Rodri really does play some inexplicable passes at times./ Foden time, 8/9 mins to show his goods v a team in the bottom 3, such trust./ We’ve had 46 touches in their box./ Last thing you want is for Stones to be diving in as last man,/ Bringing Foden on for 6 minutes is insulting./ Smithy: not much noise from the crowd./ Foden has to start questioning his situation soon./ De Bruyne is in the form of his life, he's everywhere!/ Hatrick of missed chances for Jesus./ Take KDB out of the team and we are very ordinary right now./ Not convinced a winter/February break helps, been like a pre-season friendly at times./ Jesus doing his best to deny KDB the assist record tonight./ The Blues are in fantastic voice, Louder when the place is half full./ Passing has been poor but work rate has been top notch./ Next home game 14th of March, vs Burnley".

The traffic was unreal that night, I left Warrington train station (driving) at 530 ish and didn't make the match.

This was one of the more positive match threads I see.

Last one I went to was Wednesday in the FA Cup, think it was 4th March. Wasn’t at the Swamp though.
