been trying to get another tcket for the derby but it looks like the site dosnt take halifax visa debit cards anyone else had trouble

I have had this problem before, but it worked fine last week. Give the ticket office a call.

But allow plenty of time.

Rang yesterday to get a ticket for Fulham. Got through the Box Office, was told "Its sold out". "But its not sold out according to the website" I said. "Ah, just wait while I check" she said.

Eventually "There are only single tickets left"

Me: "That's all I want".

Her: Unfortunately they've been passed to Customer Services, you'll have to ring them"

Me : "Can you transfer me?"

Her: "No".

So I rang Customer Services, had to wait about 10 mins for an answer, got to hear the commentary of Robinho scoring against Chelsea about 20 times.

Me: " Can I buy a ticket for the Fulham match?"

Her: "You should have rung the Box Office, I'll transfer you..."

Me: "Its me again, I've been transferred by Customer Services, can you transfer me back?"

Her "No".

So I rang Customer Services again. This time only heard Robinho's goal twice.

Me: "I've been told by the Box office that I can buy a ticket for the Fulham match from you"

Her: "Are you disabled?"

Me: "No"

Her: "We only have singles"

Me "Thats all I want"

Her: "Okay then, but we cant send it out, you'll have to pop in to collect it"

Me " But I live 40 miles away. Is it because I've left it too late?"

Her: "No, we're just not allowed to send them out. Box Office can but not us. You'll have to pop in"

Me " But its an 80 mile round trip. Cant you pass it to the Box Office and let them send it to me. Or are you located a long way from the Box office"

Her: "No, we're quite near them. But we cant do that."

Eventually, after much very polite pleading she agreed to speak to her Supervisor, who agreed that she can post my ticket!

Only took 30 mins.
