Open Training Day at Etihad

I'm thnking of taking the kids next week to the event. Having not been to the event before does any have advice on.

1. How long does it last for?

2. Realistically am I going to be able to entertain my 4 and 1 1/2 year old, with a bit of face painting and clowns?

3. Any other general advice

I seem to remember the gates opening about an hour before it started. The session lasts an hour and it's usually 4 or 5 teams in a series of games. I reckon it depends how interested in City your 4 and half year old is mate :) It's free too if I remember rightly and it's the summer holidays. It is something to do so go for it :)

Great thats Wednesday sorted I reckon the kids will love it. A tour around the souvenier shop and that will be sorted

It's not a bad day. Few things for the kids to do and there's about half an hours training - last year there were 3 (?) teams pitted against each other doing dribbling round cones, sprints etc - no playing football as such. Thinking about it the captains were Bellamy, Adebayor and SWP - all of who'm appeared to be surplus to requirements last season! A quick introduction to the players and that's it. Free parking and the shop, bars and food outlets are all open to help relieve you of a bit of cash.

It is for the kids primarliy - unless you completely live and breath City and would be happy watching a few players run around a bit - the sort of fan that may, for example, be so fanatical that they are actually going to the Community Shield ;-)

FREE parking at COMS now thats a novelty. What types of activities are we talking for the kids ? And how are they about bringing in push chairs (just make my life easier if I can put the nipper in there)
