It won't work cos our fans are not great when in big numbers like wigan away, blackburn, bolton. Yes we are good when winning, but when the games a bore draw or we are losing (unless we are getting battered like boro) we are terrible. imagine the whole south stand, 6k of us watching us gettin beat by Fulham, you serioulsy think that we will be singing throughout like poznan, aris do? personally can't see it. yes you'll get the individual trying to start songs but once we are losing or playing shit no one around cares. look at the south stand, when we are drawing they are static til we score, yet 111 are tryin there best even though its only a few hundred.. but if you really want an 'operation one end' then move the family stand to the third tier and have the north stand as 'your stand'. look at the kop, holte end, stretford end, they are all quiet when losing and we will be no different. i know i will get called all the names under the sun for this but it does my head in all this operation one end rubbish

People do seem to have some daft idea that moving the away fans is going to transform the south stand into an intimidating cauldron of noise, not buying it myself.

Can't see the club ever moving the away support, unless we build a third tier above the south stand they're staying put i reckon.
No way would the club want the away fans in numbers over near city square anyway and they have quick access on the south stand side to escort the coaches over to the M60 and get rid.

the best way to improve atmospheres in ALL UK grounds, implement safe standing areas.

If for example SS tier 1 was all standing this would probably cause all of 111/110/109 to move into the 116/117 area therefore the singers all together, problem solved.

It will never work as the vocal fans only go there to be near the away fans. Remove them and there is nothing.
