Somewhere talking sensible nonsense ; )
I sometimes read fan pre/post match forums of the team we are playing next on their views about City. I have joined KUMB(west Ham) and RAWK(Liverpool) and have contributed about City when up against them a few times. I've had a look on a couple of Palace forums this week too.

Been thinking it may be a good idea if other fan forums could comment on here and us on theirs before/after we play them. Be good to see what they have to comment and perhaps we could share good hearted banter with. Maybe a good idea if we can both sign into our forums and link up a game thread with them.

What do you think ?

It's a good idea bud, one I would fully endorse but we'd all have to either migrate to their forum, or all their fans would have to migrate on here, register and so on...

And we all know how many of us on here feel about immigration.

I know what you're saying about migrating and registering on other fan forums, but if Ric and the mods laised with the guys that run their fan forums, then it may be possible to link up by signing in on here.
I would think it wouldn't be too complicated to set up...

There is nothing stopping any fans from signing up as long as they abide by the rules and respect the fact that this is a City forum and we see things from our own perspective

I think you're missing my point mate, of linking forums together without the the need for them to join Bluemoon and us to join their respective forums.

Hahaha.....!

As Ducado said, nothings stopping anyone from registering on here, and vice versa with us on their forums....

Something definitely needs to happen though, where fans of all clubs can mingle diplomatically as right now it's just one big fucking child playground with everyone spitting their dummies and insulting each other on the likes of Twitter/facefook.

As others have said, it's not really plausible and we can just register as we wish. I too am on KUMB (the active City fan) but am receiving more and more stick all the time so I'll be off there before too long. You're welcome to join me on their match thread when it appears. They were optimistic of a draw when we hammered them 6-0 in the League Cup.

Try YouTube too if you're not already. Many channels have pre-match previews which are more substantial than you can discuss in a message board.

Just checked Palace have a channel, but no pre-match preview for City yet. West Ham also have a channel with good content that I have seen before.

It would be good if opposition fans came on and we were all able to discuss things sensibly and rationally, but it rarely works out like that. It's an emotive sport, and people get tribal.

Many opposition fans that register are on the wum, and those that aren't tend to get hounded if they say anything even slightly uncomplimentary about the club. It's a shame, but it's the same on pretty much all football forums. The only ones who survive for any length of time tend to be subservient types like that City fan on Red Cafe.

I won't be anybody's lapdog particularly anything to do with that shower of shite! If you sign up to other clubs forums its doubtful you'll be welcomed with open arms and you'll have to dust of the rhino skin and steel helmet as you're likely to get dogs abuse at some stage. I wouldn't lower myself.
It's bad enough listening to the bitter fuckers when they rock upon here having registered never mind giving them free access from the deluded dustbin caf to post whatever bile they fancy with no sanction. The mods will be sat with their fingers permanently on the delete key. Unfortunately ever has it been thus. Sorry fella it's a none starter. As already stated they can sign up on here and express their views if they want to! Invariably some of our lesser lights will then pile in with a load of abuse at the merest hint of city bingo or opposite view or a perceived slight resulting in a tirade back. Its just the way it is and always has been. I like it that way!

West Ham's KUMB is nowhere near that bad when I'm on there. One or two clearly don't like me but I've more than a few allies.

From what I remember, we were getting way too many cheap digs at how much we spend and the usual bitter drivel when we had that opposition view thing we had last season so I don't think it would go down that well IMO.
