Optimum Resolution Message

Hi guys,

I'm hoping you can help me. I've just got a new game for my laptop and after I installed it successfully and entered the game it suddenly shut down. I then received a message saying 'this is not the optimum screen resolution'

I have a Sony Vaio laptop with Windows 7. I have played an earlier version of this game on my laptop so I don't think I need another graphics card.

Tried changing the resolution but to no success.

Any ideas?

Think it would probably help to name the game and the model number of the Vaio. Not a computer gamer so thats about as far as i can go except to tell you lappies dont in general have a fx card, the usually have a chip soldered to the board.
 
Football Manager 2012 has a minimum screen resolution of 1024 x 768, what is yours set to?

Mines set to 1366 x 768

It doesn't get to the home page even.

In that case mate all i can suggest in uninstall and try again (i dont pc game), unless someone else uses the game and knows more.
