Anybody else having problems with Orange in and around Manchester? Mine's been messed up all week. Doesn't deliver texts or doesn't send me a delivery report. Also internet connection is really dodgy.

Contract runs out soon and they're not doing much to make me want to stay on with them! They have no excuse either now they're linked to the T-Mobile signal too.

hey, might do that! ^

Yep I'm i've got the everything everywhere thing set up for my phone and to be honest the T Mobile signal hasn't been needed much, twice maybe.

That said I agree the last month its been temperamental where ever I've gone.

Yeah, mines being dodgy, i cant make calls or texts becuase they've blocked my service, but at times i just dont receive calls at all, apparently it says user cannot receive calls at this time. It's worst round Sale area, I've found.

Mine seems to be always searching for a signal. Since they teamed up with TMobile it's got worse if anything. Contract is up in May. Been with Orange for 8 years but I'm changing this time around.

Hi

Sorry to read that you've been having problems around Manchester.

It looks like there is some maintenance work being done on one of our transmitters to the south west of Manchester at the moment. This should be complete by 18 April 2011. There are also three transmitters nearby which are partially degraded at the moment. Our current estimate is that these should be back to full capacity by 26 April 2011.

I hope this information helps, and that you will see some improvement in the signal you receive once the above works have completed.
