Orlando, Fl - Places to stay?

Get on vrbo.com, there should be loads to have a look at. Prices may be up as those who own out there will know its school hols in the UK, but you are practically doubling a quid when you come over so get your hand in your pocket ;)

Me and the Mrs went in the summer, stayed at the All Star Music Resort. Benefits is you get inclusive Disney Fast passes and cheap value for tickets.

Best Holiday I've been on, booked again for next year at the Caribbean Beach Resort.

I stayed on International drive, very reasonably priced, need a hire car though and the parks are reasonably close, bar Busch Gardens obviously.
They also have a bus called I-Ride,think that's what it's called, they were at the time $1.25,no matter how far you wanted to go and kids were free, used these to get to a couple of parks.
If you do drive to Tampa for Busch Gardens, about 30minutes past Tampa is Clearwater Beach,I ALWAYS stay there for a few nights, love it.

I'd also recommend Clearwater, very nice area and beach to chill out for a few days after a hectic few days doing the parks with the kids

If you're looking for a place to chill on the coast, go to Anna Maria Island. It's beautiful
It has the long white sandy beaches that are at St Petes, Cleawater and right down the coast, but it is low rise and has a real seaside feel to the place
We stayed there for a week last year after six days in Orlando and we would go back just to Anna Maria for a relaxing holiday
It's less than an hour to Busch as well

I would second Anna Marie Island. Have a walk along the pier, crystal clear sea all around. Dolphins and stingrays. Have something to eat in the cafe on the end of pier. Fantastic. Cannot wait to go back. we will be there last week in October wearing the colours..
