Fulham prices were raised – Northenden said they had returned 40 tickets due to the prices – it was a point of principle. Carol said the London Branch had returned 40 out of the 100 tickets which had been ordered again due to the appalling prices. The Chairman said he had raised this with the FSF.Players visits to branches are being dealt with and the Chairman asked for branches’ patience. He also asked that, when players/guests visit branches, that they are treated with respect and given the same courtesy they would be given if visiting your own home. This was mentioned as the Chairman reported there had been some problems.

Chairman:
Alan reported re the queries on the derby Cup game at Old Trafford where it was alleged that fans weren’t able to use the toilets for about 25 minutes prior to the end of the game and also reported trouble on the streets surrounding Old Trafford when a Haytons coach was bricked and suffered approximately £3K worth of damage. Alan had e-mailed the Old Trafford Safety Officer but hadn’t received a reply. He believes he will need to speak to the Safety Advisory Group with regards to the issues outside of the stadium but he said all the information may take some time to gather together.
Paul Lake – in Paul’s new role as Ambassador for City he has asked if the OSC would be willing to join forces with the CSA in a fundraising effort to get a minibus for the Sierra Leone charity – Kevin would be e-mailing the information out to branches on 10th March. Discussed – points raised that this would conflict with the charity we are already supporting for this year – Jumpspace, but the Chairman felt the OSC should be shown to be getting involved with City in the Community. Middleton proposed and Didsbury seconded that we support this charity. Carried.
Baguley branch made a suggestion with regard to the proposed year/handbook that it could be incorporated into a cheap diary with the OSC crest on the front – that way advertising could still be incorporated along with the OSC info and it wouldn’t be discarded by members – they could use the diary to pencil in the fixtures – it was felt an academic diary would be best as this would carry the dates for the new season. The general consensus was this was a good idea!
