Anyone ever been? Ryan air doing £14.99 return flights in sep/oct so might give it a go.
Ive heard beer is well expensive though.. £8 a pint!?

Stockholm is nice. It's all islands connected by bridges.

My family are Swedish. It's said that the only people that go to Sweden to drink are Norwegians. Still very expensive.

Yep, it's expensive, but not as expensive as Oslo airport. Reckon on a pint costing you the best part of a tenner. This is why Norwegians don't buy rounds. When are you thinking of going?

Very compact city, so lots to see within walking, tram, boat distance.

Yes it is real, and looks just as good from the ground.
You can not see the cellar pubs from that pic.

Most Oslo-folk are to be found on the weekend ferry to Denmark.

I fucking love Stockholm. Great city, great people, great food and mildly expensive beer (stay away from Scotch!).

Would live there in a flash.
