Anyone ever been? Ryan air doing £14.99 return flights in sep/oct so might give it a go.
Ive heard beer is well expensive though.. £8 a pint!?

Oslo is the most expensive City in Europe. If you're going for the beer then head elsewhere. I'd personally recommend Stockholm in nearby Sweden.

Not going for the beer, its just nice to have a few pints after a day of wandering about. Looks like it would cost me £100 for those few pints though!
Ive been thinking of stockholm for a while, will take a look

Stockholm is nice. It's all islands connected by bridges.

Stockholm is fucking brilliant, people are great and heaps to see in a small area.

Pissed Norwegians everywhere (because it is cheaper), still a great place to visit, my favourite European city.

That is Stockholm, by the way.

Probably, but don't remember much!

Yep, it's expensive, but not as expensive as Oslo airport. Reckon on a pint costing you the best part of a tenner. This is why Norwegians don't buy rounds. When are you thinking of going?

Very compact city, so lots to see within walking, tram, boat distance.

Is that picture real? It looks like one of the exhibits in a miniature village.

Yes it is real, and looks just as good from the ground.
You can not see the cellar pubs from that pic.
