They wouldn't get tickets for away games though because they wouldn't have enough Loyalty Points which shows how shit that system is.
My Dad saw both Doherty and Bell and he reckoned that Doherty was better. He also said that he never reached the peak of his talent because of the warThats praise indeed..Paisley not really a man of many words or outlandish comment.
Interesting..Gonna have to have a look at Doherty career details.....
My Dad(rip) always said Doherty was the best he'd seen.My Dad saw both Doherty and Bell and he reckoned that Doherty was better. He also said that he never reached the peak of his talent because of the war

When I first started watching City in the late 60s a lot of the older fans around us used to moan about the atmosphere at Maine Road compared to that at Hyde Road! We often hear those complaints nowadays about the Etihad. There were a hell of a lot more empty seats at Maine Road in those days as well! The lad who sits next to me knows Vera as she goes in his gym. She gets on the treadmill and walks for a bit, hats off to her. When he got talking to her about City she said how happy she was with all that's happening but she wished we didn't keep changing grounds so often. She's seen us at Hyde Road, Maine Road and the Etihad lol
