I wouldn't be surprised if he isn't. His contribution has been immeasurable but it is no use deluding ourselves, he is one of the biggest mercenaries in world football.
Losing him will hurt but long-term having players like Silva and Sanchez (if he is coming) could be more healthy for the club. Tevez's unhappiness/homesickness/etc. became annoying about 8 episodes ago and the "perfectly" timed transfer request capped it off.
