First - winning trophies or not, we're never gonna have a load of band wagon jumpers.
Second - as much as cunts like Scott of Repulik of Mancunia would like to try and convince and brain wash his red masses, City still are the Mancunian club. There is no way there were 28,000 Mancunian United fans in their end yesterday, and they'd probably be lucky to have the 17,000 blue Mancs that we had there yesterday. Manchester is a working class city, and we have working class fans. They'll probably laugh and say "Oh but you all live in Stockport" - well you play in Trafford and Stockport is a lot closer to Manchester than Uxbridge/Weymouth/Dover and any other coaches I saw yesterday.
I know plenty of blues who go week in week out who didn't go yesterday, and it doesn't make them less City fans.
If we didn't have Champions League football to look forward to next season, do you think there would be as many empty seats?
THOUSANDS of season ticket holders couldn't get a ticket for the final, yet we didn't sell out yesterday - maybe that shows the importance of the game?!
I went yesterday, but I'm not gonna knock anyone that didn't.
^^^^^
38-39000 season tickets
22ish thousand travel to London?
tells me where peoples financial priorities lie-people would rather dish out the money for the seasons football than cup competitons as a whole-our early rounds in the cups prove this.
Theres a fucking recession on unless anybody has forgot and if it means cup football goes by the wayside then i personally aint going to deprive my family of spending it on something else-season tickets are the priority for me,always have and always will be.
Them twats had fucking plenty of empty seats-not just as many as us so who gives a shit.
