So does any one know roughly how many people are going?[/quote]
Ive hated every bit of this thread..'im a big blue but not going'...'im a big blue and will be going'..'your a c**t for not going' etc etc etc.
However, i must admit now to being a bit intrigued as to have many tickets we've shifted. Personally not bothered if theres 1000, 20000 or more - were all blues not matter what.

Not going to have ago at any blue for not going if they cannot afford it or whatever. But this is not a friendly. its for a trophy that believe it or not, contributes to both clubs honours lists. The European Super Cup is not a friendly, neither is this.

All that matters to me is I will be there, with my dad and 2 brothers. Missed out on the final (just short of points) so not going to miss this one. And I will have a good day and so will all the blues that are there. And if you are not going fair enough, your not going to get stick off me. But regret is a horrible thing!!

This is the sort of thing I like to read. A fan going to support his team & make up for missing the final. Have a great day out. I agree those who don't go its up to them. Just hard to understand missing a derby. But saying that a lot of the rags there will be southerners. I only get to 50% of away games due to work & have to give the wife my season ticket for a few home games. I went to the semi & the final & going on Sunday. You can bet I will make as much noise then as in the previous 2 games.

I'll be there, loud and proud,

was there for semi and final and this one too,
for me Wembley against rags is one i have to be there for,
if anyone feels different, then fair enough its all about choice and i certainly wouldnt question anyone about not going,

but if we win 6-0, i can say i was there :),
and i've got 40 points more than those who dont.

I ve been reading this thread all week and the simple fact is go if you can and fair play to you but for the likes of me who is not going don't turn this into a slagging off session if you don't know why people cannot go then say fuck all. I went to all the FA cup games last season I ve had my season ticket for years 5000 points plus. At the moment struggling to pay the bills threats of redundancy at work and all that goes with that shite to deal with, and if some people think I should give money which I aint got at the moment to the money grabbing FA for a match that means nothing to anyone but the two teams taking part then you ve got it all wrong. Even though I went to Wembley twice last year I never wanted to go to the semi Why the fuck is the semi at Wembley, and when I did go was I impressed with the place NO its fucking shit cant see fuck all in the gods its just a big arena in the middle of a shite hole. Over priced beer and food no where to park, got pushed from corner to corner by plod. Drank in some shite pubs paying over the odds the only thing that made them any good was the city fans having a laugh.
So for those people who thing they have the right to have a go at some blues who aint going just have a think about it please.
O if any of those that think I should be going pay my train fare, get me a ticket, buy my beer, feed me and wipe my arse then I ll go.
Got that off my chest !!!!!!!!
