I've just been looking at the official match report from Decembers game with spurs. It pretty much says that lennon tore silvinho to pieces. Well if he plays he won't have it his own way this time because i'd expect Kompany and Bridge to replace Onuoha and Sylvinho. Much more solid. And we'll have better balance with Bellamy tracking back and letting lennon know he's in game too.
It also comments on Crouchs height being a factor so its handy we have Fulop and Kompany in there.

I'm feeling a bit more comfortable in the fact that we should be a much better unit than we were on that night.

My view is that Hughes should have been sacked straight after this game, a blind man could see we were never going to cope with Lennon with the line up Hughes put out that night. I remember Andy Gray on SKY saying before the game that with City's team he knew exactly what Spurs would do, and they did exactly what he said they would and we were 3-0 down before Hughes changed it.

Our worse performance and we owe Spurs for it.

it truly was outrageous that sylvinho played that night. as much as i like the guy because he seems to respect the club and the fans, he just simply wasn't up to that job.

Not realising that it was going to happen was bad enough. Not reacting to the situation as Sylvinho got ripped time and time again was just staggering. As you say, he should have gone that night.

Yes, i do feel alot more comfortable looking at that line up and what we will have on show tommorrow.

Nerves kicking in.

i felt sorry for Sylvinho that night. he was a true world champion gettin ripped a new arsehole in the final year of his career! wasn't nice! lets hope we can hit em hard tomorrow

Let's not forget that when we played Spurs the first half was fairly even. They were the better team, but not by that much - they were also the home team.

Let's not forget that the third goal was so late on as to be meaningless in terms of the game.

Let's not forget that their second goal was a hoof upfield and a knock-down for Defoe to score - but when we hoofed it up into their area, Dawson plainly handled in the area but no penaly given. Same tactic from each team, 2 different results.

None of this means we will win tomorrow. But anyone who thinks all that Spurs have to do is turn up to win is deluded.

A few on here, myself and Freestyler included, saw the Lennon thing coming days beforehand. Everyone except Hughes could see it

Just like we can forsee the problem with Crouch, and the fact that we don't really have a counter to that threat.

If we can see it, Mancini can see it.

City often lost goals for a same team in the same way , as Stroke v CITY, the two lost goals in two near matches occurred for the long throws from Stroke players.

Last match city v aston,CITY lost the first goal, and nearly a second goal were almost in the same way , same player and same manner and the same point of the ground, fortunately the ball hit the bar.

Bellamy often scores a goal in the same way, except the last match, that was surprisingly differencen. Now most enemies learn how to defence the bella's way, however,he is still very dangerous for every team but harder to get a score.

The spur coach and the players might watch the success goals when they win 3-0 to CITY last December again and again.

May god bless CITY to be a winner of the game tomorrow, not for 4th ,not for going to Champion League but for CITY supporters.
