I've had the letter too.
Lost all my paperwork in a fire a few years ago so no certificate.
I would have kept it anyway.
I think they are offering me £42.50 for my 100 and odd shares.
Easy come easy go!!

My pal bought me 40 shares for my 40th birthday sometime ago now, I still have the share certificate somewhere. But its 16 quid that I will never see as I wont part with it .......... for 10 x that !

I’ve had the offer but ignoring it. My share certificate is a souvenir of my brief time as a shareholder. Got to go to three AGM’s and always managed to get in a question, usually answered by Alistair Mackintosh.
