But when you have a lot of debt and haven't much money maybe Owen would have been a good signing, the fact that we don't have debt and can pay good wages means we are not forced to look at these signings as we once were.

comparing the owen move with past united moves doesn't work because unless they've got some bold transfer moves planned, they've just replaced cristina and tevez with.... valencia and owen. brb gotta change my tighty whities i just pmsl.

Berbatov is a player who refuses to run
Owen is a player who can't run (he is injury prone)

I would be surprised if both could run even 70% of the team average.

All the Prem defenders must be having a laugh.
