Ozil?

I love Ozil. He's my favorite non-city player...but we already Dave Silva. Similar styles. It would be great to have him, but something would have to give to keep both guys.
Yeah yeah, Iniesta is the most prestigious attacking mid, but he's getting older. (I just really hate Barca, I'm stretching to fault him) There are a few younger guys I would put next in line to him though...

and the more I watch Oscar, the more impressed I am... the kid is a baller. Forget Hazard, Oscar was the best transfer Chelski made over the summer.

I think our biggest need is a quick winger. Like a Scott Sinclair type player... oh, wait.

Would do ok in the Premier League due to being quick as well as talented, but not even in the top 10 I would choose if available.

Which 10 would you pick over him? he is only 24 and was instumental in real madrids title last season.

I disagree with the last statement. Ozil does not work as hard off of the ball as Silva does. He rarely last 90 minutes. He's been caught several times by Marca smoking fags. I would argue that he's actually not grown as much as Silva since they both made their respective moves.

Yaya doesn't smoke and he looks fucked after one quick sprint

Of course they damage but I doubt they smoke 20 a day and I doubt it effects them that much when they are fitness training most days

can you really play Silva and Ozil in the same side? Both left-footed, both don't like to play out wide

Though I remember we had genuine interest in him before he moved to Real, in fact I believe we were favourite to land him.

Silva and Ozil would have to rotate unless one of them can play Nasri's position which if so would provide us with an upgrade. Ozil is brilliant and would be a great signing but chances of Mourinho selling him must be near zero! He is an assists machine.

He is easily one of the top midfielders in the world yet his name never comes up, he is on par with iniesta imo and would easily be worth a high price tag.
