We could do if Kompany moved to centre back. Mind you I can't see Fernandes being kept and who knows what will happen with Johnson. Having De Jong, Palacios and Kompany might not be a bad thing.

Theres a lot of pundits saying he's (Palacios)a quality player...Almost guarateed the same people would say he's shit if he joined us. Personally I can't see Whelan selling to us over Engerland Arry, now he's made such a fuss. I would like City to offer £5 million more than Spurs just to test his resolve though!

But sadly some poster's uncle's friend's cousin twice removed has said that MH and Harry have agreed that we take Bellamy and they take Palacios. Complete bollocks in my opinion. We should definitely sign Palacios before this window closes. Why not try getting Kaka for a reduced fee in the summer? We will need him more next season when we can actually win trophies.

It's only the start and I also think City's plans for January are changing all the time due to the Kaka publicity and players we hadn't even looked at are now putting themselves up as available?

We could up with TEN new players at this rate because we wouldn't not be able to look a 'gift horse in the mouth' and we have the cash to make it happen.

Palacios wasn't even a target until they heard about Spuds coming in.

Could also make it easier bedding them in now rather than the summer?
