Don't really remember him for that, More the screamer for Fulham v the Rags late on. As you say very sad news.

I remember that goal, he was absolutely miles out, probably 35/40 yards. I remember as well that he tried it again quite regularly after that, hitting the top of the stand usually. He got the one that mattered though, v the rags. RIP

Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease apparently - nothing to do with teeth, more like a sort of muscular dystrophy. Rare genetic condition, and even rarer for it to be fatal it seems.
